After her death, three sons were left without a mother, two of whom are in elementary school.
This crime has caused significant public outcry, which is why the GKNB is now handling the investigation.
According to the agency, an investigative operational group has been formed, which is focused on clarifying the circumstances and reasons that led to such a serious crime.
According to the investigation, the deceased had a protection order due to a high level of threat to her life and health. Despite Zhibek Urustemova's repeated appeals to the district police department of the Sverdlovsk district, no measures were taken to ensure her safety.
The GKNB also established that after the murder, the district officer J.N. forged documents regarding checks conducted at the residence of the suspect to cover up his actions.
Additionally, senior inspector A.K. of the Special Operations Bureau of the Bishkek City Police illegally extended the permit for the possession and carrying of a traumatic pistol for the accused, even though the permit had already expired at the time of the murder, and no measures were taken to confiscate the weapon.
On December 29, criminal cases were initiated against the detained police officers, and they were placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB. The Lenin District Court decided to keep them in custody during the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing, and the actions of all involved law enforcement officers will be thoroughly examined, with appropriate legal assessments to be made.
