At the opening of a new district department of the State National Security Committee in the Issyk-Kul region, which took place on December 27, Tashiev raised the issue of this incident. He noted that Urustemova had a protection order, yet law enforcement agencies took no action to ensure her safety.
Tashiev emphasized that all structures dealing with law and order must not only be responsible for preventing violence against women but also actively work on identifying it. He criticized the negligence that led to the death of a woman who left behind three sons, two of whom are in elementary school.
“The death of the mother of three children occurred due to the oversight of law enforcement agencies, security services, and the prosecutor's office. We will definitely conduct a thorough investigation into this crime and examine the accountability of law enforcement officers. If similar cases are identified in other regions, all those involved will be held accountable! It is important for officers not to remain in their offices but to actively take measures to prevent violence, conduct patrols, and identify such cases!” - stated Tashiev.
The murder of Urustemova has caused a wide public outcry, and the investigation is currently being conducted by the State National Security Committee.
