Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of the SCNS Kamchybek Tashiev noted in an interview with the "Region-TV" channel on December 9 that before the reforms, the working conditions for employees of the special services left much to be desired.
He emphasized that the ministry responsible for national security had long lacked the necessary working spaces and modern equipment, which previously did not receive due attention.
Against the backdrop of these problems, an extensive program was launched to modernize the SCNS infrastructure. According to the press service of the Presidential Administration, since 2021, more than 94 facilities have been put into operation in the republic as part of the renewal of the SCNS.

- 2021:
On August 30, a new SCNS office was opened for employees of the local department in the Suzaq District of the Jalal-Abad region. Tashiev mentioned that before this, the district department was located in a building resembling a library.
On September 12, a new SCNS building was opened in the Nooken District. Tashiev noted that the district department was previously located in a corner of the House of Culture.
On September 25, a new SCNS building was opened in the Alaï District of the Osh region. Tashiev was also awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Alaï District" on the same day.
On November 10, a new SCNS building was opened in Kara-Kul in the Jalal-Abad region, which created all modern working conditions.
On November 19, the building of the Uzgen District Department of the SCNS was put into operation. Tashiev also reported on the completion of major repairs in the Naryn region.
On November 24, a new building for the At-Bashinsky District Department of the SCNS was opened. Tashiev also noted that the façade of the building had been updated.
On December 18, a new building for the SCNS management in the Jalal-Abad region was opened, where President Japarov noted that the conditions had previously been extremely unsatisfactory.
Tashiev: "Working in the old building was impossible due to the lack of space."
- 2022:
On June 4, a training center for the SCNS near Bishkek was opened with the participation of President Japarov and Tashiev. The center meets international standards and is intended for the professional development of employees in the field of counter-terrorism and organized crime.
On June 7, a new building for the SCNS was constructed in the village of Pokrovka in the Talas region, during which a ceremony for the opening of the new administrative building took place.
On June 15, the new administrative building of the Aksy District Department of the State SCNS was opened in Kербен. Tashiev also provided information about the new working conditions.
On September 3, a new administrative building for the Nookat District Department of the Main Directorate of the SCNS of the Kyrgyz Republic for the city of Osh was opened.
On November 9, a new building for the SCNS was put into operation in Tash-Kumyr, where modern working conditions for employees were created.
On November 21, a new building for the Kara-Buurinsky District Department of the SCNS in the Talas region was opened.
On November 23, a new SCNS building was opened in the Kara-Kulzhinsky District of the Osh region.
On December 15, a new building for the Talas District Department of the SCNS was opened.
- 2023:
On January 17, a new SCNS building was constructed in the Toguz-Toro District of the Jalal-Abad region. Tashiev noted the importance of this event.
On May 13, the president opened a new building for the Coordination Center for Cybersecurity of the SCNS.
On May 16, the updated building of the district department of the SCNS was opened in the Soкuluk District. Tashiev reported on the major repairs.
On June 17, during a trip to the Talas region, Japarov opened a new SCNS building.
In 2024, on January 18, Japarov participated in the opening of the updated SCNS building in the Issyk-Kul region, which had not been repaired since 1976.
"The building has been completely renovated and modernized, creating the necessary conditions for employees to work."
On June 28, Tashiev opened a new building for the SCNS in the Chatkal District and handed over the keys to service housing for employees.
Tashiev: "Employees will now be able to live with their families in new apartments, which will improve their living conditions."
In addition, the press service of the SCNS reported on the construction of 7 kindergartens for the children of employees and 14 social housing facilities, emphasizing that work in this direction will continue.
