The State National Security Service (GKNB) has begun an investigation into the tragic death of a mother of three children, who, as investigators have determined, was fatally wounded by a gas-traumatic weapon. The suspect in the crime has already been detained and placed in the GKNB pre-trial detention center for further investigation.
By the instruction of Kamchybek Tashiev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and head of the GKNB, the criminal case has been transferred for consideration to the central office. In order to thoroughly study all circumstances of the incident, an investigative-operational group has been established.
According to the GKNB, new facts have been discovered during the investigation, including a temporary protection order issued to the deceased, as well as the illegal possession and carrying of a gas-traumatic weapon by the accused, which, according to preliminary data, was used at the time of the crime.
This tragedy has caused significant public resonance, especially considering that the detained individual previously served in law enforcement. The highest political leadership of the country has already expressed its position on the need for a strict legal assessment of this incident, viewing it as a threat to public safety and family values.
The GKNB noted that during the investigation, a final legal assessment will be given not only to the actions of the suspect but also to the possible inaction of other individuals if it may have contributed to the crime.
The agency assured that all those responsible will be held accountable according to the law, and the results of the investigation will be communicated to the public.
