At the headquarters of the State Committee for National Security, a meeting took place between Chairman Kamchybek Tashiev and Bekzhan Urustemov, the son of a woman named Zhibek who was killed in Bishkek. This was reported by the press service of the agency.
As a result of the conversation, a decision was made to provide assistance to Zhibek Urustemova's children in addressing their issues, including housing, mortgage repayment, employment for the eldest son, and funding for the education of all three children of the deceased.
“This matter is under special control of the head of the SCNS,” the statement noted.

Kamchybek Tashiev emphasized that the deceased had a protection order, but law enforcement agencies did not take any action.

“This tragedy occurred due to negligence on the part of law enforcement agencies, the prosecutor's office, and security services. We intend to thoroughly investigate the crime and hold the police accountable,” he stated.
Tashiev also warned that in the event of similar incidents occurring in any locality, local authorities, police officers, SCNS staff, and prosecutors will be held accountable.
It is reminded that Bekzhan reached out via social media to the president and the head of the SCNS asking for help in repaying his mortgage debt.
On December 23, an incident occurred in Bishkek when a man shot his ex-wife. It is known that he is a former police officer and had previously run for a seat in the city council.
