
According to the agency, the man with the initials S.U.E. used connections with the president of Kyrgyzstan and the head of the State Committee for National Security to cover his activities.
The criminal seized two cars: a Toyota Tundra worth $65,000 and a Mercedes-Benz worth $15,000.
The state committee reported that S.U.E. not only refused to return the cars to the owner but also threatened him with physical harm, referring to his connections with high-ranking individuals, including the president. He showed family photos, claiming that he was capable of "resolving various issues."
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. He was detained in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region, and placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security. The investigation is ongoing.
