The man intimidated entrepreneurs by threatening them with criminal prosecution and ultimately extorted more than $26 thousand from them.
To create an appearance of authority, he claimed to be a subordinate of the assistant to the chairman of the GKNB, Kamchybek Tashiev, and even referred to his friendship with Tashiev's son.
