Recently, a video appeared on social media capturing a conflict between passengers and airport staff at "Issyk-Kul".
According to the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region, on December 22, a report was received at the internal affairs department from the airport security service, stating that some passengers of the flight that landed at the airport were violating public order and creating conflict situations.
This incident was recorded in the log of offenses at the Issyk-Kul District Internal Affairs Department, after which a preliminary investigation began.
An operational investigative group from the Tamchy police station was dispatched to the scene to carry out the necessary measures. It was established that on the night of December 21 to 22, 2025, at 03:11, a plane from "Aviatraffic" flying from Moscow to Bishkek was unable to land at the "Manas" international airport due to poor weather conditions and fog. As a result, it landed at the "Issyk-Kul" airport in the village of Tamchy.
According to law enforcement agencies, around 03:40 all 182 passengers were disembarked and placed in a "sterile" zone. Around 04:15, some of them began demanding to re-board the aircraft, which led to temporary restrictions being imposed by the airport security service.
At this time, one of the passengers, K.R., born in 1982, while in the "sterile" zone, intentionally threw computer equipment onto the floor, damaging airport property—a computer and a printer.
During further proceedings, the following individuals were brought in and questioned:
- K.Ch., born in 1976, a resident of the Chui region;
- A.N., born in 1984, a resident of the city of Tokmok;
- M.A., born in 1986, a resident of the Nookat district.
Currently, verification activities are ongoing, and the actions of the mentioned individuals will be assessed in accordance with the law.
