In his interview, the Chairman of the State National Security Committee (GKNB) Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov emphasized that one of the tasks set by the president is the necessity to stop unjustified inspections of businesses. In accordance with this directive, such inspections will be halted starting from the beginning of 2026.
If any illegal actions by officials or administrative barriers for entrepreneurs are identified, we will respond strictly within the framework of the law and provide a legal assessment.
At the same time, if any businessmen are found to be engaged in illegal activities or involved in criminal schemes, they will also be held accountable under the law, the head of the GKNB reported.
Shabdanbekov noted that the overwhelming majority of GKNB employees—about 99%—work diligently and responsibly, adhering to the laws and interests of the state. Their work is aimed at protecting national security and maintaining public order.
Details can be found in the recording of Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov: GKNB is moving from "a culture of intimidation to legal methods" and the depoliticization of the agency, first published on the K-News website.
