Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov, Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, held a meeting with representatives of the business community.
He emphasized that successful economic development is closely linked to the effective operation of businesses, the creation of new jobs, and the formation of tax revenues. In this regard, he noted that this meeting provides a platform for open communication, during which entrepreneurs can voice their opinions and discuss relevant issues.
“Honest business should have the opportunity to operate without unnecessary obstacles. The task of law enforcement agencies is to protect the economy, not to create barriers. We do not intend to interfere in your activities without grounds. However, if you are subjected to pressure, we are ready to support you. The only thing we expect is transparency and honesty in your activities,” added J. Shabdanbekov.
Business representatives also presented their ideas and proposals. They thanked the leadership of the State Committee for National Security for the opportunity for open dialogue, emphasizing the importance of transparency in the inspection process. Furthermore, entrepreneurs suggested more active communication with the community regarding new changes in legislation.
J. Shabdanbekov, in turn, reminded that all facts of illegal actions by officials or administrative barriers will be thoroughly examined in accordance with the law. He also warned that any individuals engaged in illegal activities or involved in criminal schemes will be held accountable under current legislation.
