To implement this initiative, it is planned to create a fund that will significantly modernize various traditional industries, including the aerospace industry, semiconductor manufacturing, and the defense sector. In size, it will be comparable to SoftBank's Vision Fund.

Bezos's initiative is closely related to a project called Project Prometheus, where he serves as CEO alongside Vik Bajaj, a professor at Stanford University and co-founder of Google's life sciences division. The main task of the company is to develop AI models that can simulate physical processes, such as the aerodynamics of airplanes and the behavior of materials under load. These developments are intended to be implemented in enterprises that will be acquired by the fund.

Currently, Prometheus has already attracted approximately $6.2 billion in investments and continues to negotiate for additional funding. David Limp, CEO of Blue Origin, has also joined the board of directors, strengthening the project's connection to space and industrial technologies.

Recently, Bezos has been actively communicating with sovereign funds from Middle Eastern countries and visited Singapore to gain support from major international investors. The fund is planned not only as a source of investments but also as a structure that will build vertically integrated systems with a high degree of automation.

This initiative is part of a broader trend: after the era of language models, the AI industry is beginning to shift towards solutions that can manage the physical world, including robotics, logistics, and manufacturing processes. Former Uber CEO Travis Kalanick announced the creation of a company called Atoms, which also aims to transform industry through AI. In turn, Elon Musk has repeatedly emphasized Tesla's ambitious plans to develop humanoid robots.
