The number of fatalities in the Hong Kong fire has risen to 75

According to the South China Morning Post, the death toll from the fire in a residential complex in Hong Kong has risen to 75. Currently, 62 people remain trapped at the scene. A total of 77 injured individuals have been taken to hospitals, including 10 firefighters; 12 of them are in critical condition.

On November 26, a fire broke out in the Tai Po area, engulfing seven residential complexes that house 2,000 apartments and nearly 5,000 residents. By the morning of November 27, 55 fatalities had been reported, along with 45 individuals in serious condition. Additionally, 279 residents are listed as missing.

This incident has become the deadliest fire in the history of residential buildings in Hong Kong. In connection with the incident, the police have arrested three individuals who have been charged with manslaughter.
