Neighbors reported that there were guests in the house at the time of the tragedy, as the owners had hosted an event the day before.
The area affected by the flames was 360 square meters, and the firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze. Currently, all emergency services are working at the scene, and an investigation has been initiated to determine the causes of the incident.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased. He instructed the government and the regional akim to provide all necessary assistance to the relatives and to conduct an investigation into the circumstances of the tragedy, as reported by Akorda.

Children's Ombudsman Dinara Zakiyeva noted that two families—parents with children—were in the burning house, and the roof collapsed at the moment of the incident.
The health condition of the hospitalized individuals—two adults and one child—is assessed as serious but stable; they are in the intensive care unit.
A government commission has been established, led by Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbaev, which includes representatives from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Labor, and the regional akimat. The commission will investigate the causes of the fire. Medical, psychological, and social assistance will be provided to the families of the deceased and the injured, and the akimat has been instructed to organize the funerals. The regional akim has already expressed his condolences to the relatives and loved ones of the victims of the tragedy.
