On the day the fire broke out, November 26, the consequences became known, with the initial death toll at 44 people and 279 individuals reported missing. At that time, about 700 people were evacuated and placed in temporary shelters. As of that moment, out of the seven buildings in the complex, four were already under control, and rescue operations continued on the lower floors. Additionally, it is worth noting that since July 2024, eight residential blocks had been under renovation, surrounded by bamboo scaffolding and protective nets.
