On February 26, at the Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University, located in Hubei Province, a woman named Dili, living in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, became the mother of five children: one boy and four girls.

The delivery took place at 28 weeks and 6 days and was performed by emergency cesarean section. Each of the newborns weighed between 870 and 1030 grams. More than 20 medical professionals from various specialties participated in the operation.

The mother and her children are in stable condition, and the infants have been placed in the intensive care unit for observation.

Doctors noted that the likelihood of natural conception of quintuplets is extremely low — approximately one case in tens of millions, and therefore this case has been called a "miracle among miracles."

It is worth noting that the woman had previously been diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome; however, pregnancy occurred naturally after a course of treatment.
