
In the Sverdlovsk district of Bishkek, as a result of search and rescue operations, the body of the second person who fell into the technical channel of the CHPP has been found. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
As of December 31, 150 people are participating in the search efforts, including 90 MES employees. In particular, the operation involves 55 workers from the MES office in Bishkek, 18 rescuers from the city rescue service, as well as 5 employees from the State Center for Rescuer Training and 13 rescuers from the fire and rescue units of the Issyk-Ata and Alamedin districts.
Additionally, 30 employees from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and 30 representatives from the Bishkek city administration are involved, bringing the total to 150 people engaged in the operation.
The Minister of Emergency Situations, Boobek Azhikeev, who holds the rank of lieutenant general, has taken personal control of the search and rescue operations. His deputy, Ernest Jusupov, is coordinating actions at the scene.

It is worth noting that on December 30, 2025, three citizens fell into the technical channel of the CHPP. The body of one of them has been previously found and handed over to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The other two individuals - Zh. Zh., born in 1963, and Zh. T., born in 1966, are still listed as missing.
