In Bishkek, firefighters practice extinguishing large fires in high-rise buildings

In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, important fire tactical exercises are currently taking place, focused on combating large fires in multi-story buildings. These events are organized at the direction of the Minister of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant General Boobek Azhikeev.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the exercises involve the command staff of fire and rescue services. Both urban fire and rescue units and forces from the Chui region are participating in the training.

To accomplish the assigned tasks, 10 units of specialized equipment are involved, including five fire engines, two aerial ladders, two ambulances, and one rapid response vehicle.

During the exercises, the personnel's actions in extinguishing serious fires in apartment buildings are being tested, as well as the coordination of various units and the correctness of their tactics and management in fire extinguishing conditions.

The main objective of these exercises is to enhance the tactical training of the command staff, improve management skills and interaction with other services, as well as strengthen the overall readiness of fire and rescue units. After the exercises, it is planned to analyze the mistakes made to eliminate them in the future.
