Patrol officers promptly arrived at the scene of the incident. As a result of operational search activities, the stolen vehicle was quickly located. However, when the police attempted to stop the car, the driver, realizing the seriousness of his situation, tried to escape, which led to a chase.
Despite the demands to stop, the teenager continued to flee until he ran to a canal and jumped into the water. Thanks to the coordinated and professional actions of the UPMSM staff, the offender was apprehended.
During the further investigation, it was established that the car theft was indeed committed by a minor. Currently, the necessary procedural actions are being carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
