In Bishkek, scammers forced a woman to sell her apartment and transfer them money

The incident occurred in Bishkek, where police officers detained three individuals suspected of large-scale fraud conducted through messaging apps. On December 22, 2025, a woman named G. Ch. filed a report with the Internal Affairs Department of the Sverdlovsk District.

According to the information she provided, the criminals, posing as employees of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) and local banks, contacted her via WhatsApp. They misled the woman and exerted psychological pressure on her, forcing her to carry out various financial transactions.

In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, the detainees have been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek.

Currently, law enforcement agencies continue their actions aimed at identifying other possible accomplices and gathering additional evidence for a thorough investigation of the case.
