Only one of the teenagers, who was driving, survived
As a result of a traffic accident in the Kochkor district, two 10th-grade students from the Ninaakan Zhundubaeva Secondary School died, as reported by the State Traffic Safety Department.
According to information from law enforcement agencies, the incident occurred on February 7 at 03:00 on the Kara-Suu-Kara-Kungoy highway. Three teenagers were in a "Kia K5" car, which they took without their parents' knowledge, and while speeding, they were heading west from the village of Kara-Saz when the accident happened.
The car veered off the road, crashed into a ditch, and overturned. Two schoolchildren were thrown from the vehicle, while the driver remained inside. He managed to escape and call for an ambulance.
All three were taken to the intensive care unit of the Kochkor District Hospital, where, unfortunately, two of them died. The condition of the third teenager, who was transferred to Bishkek, is currently assessed as stable.
