Trump gave Iran 48 hours to unblock the Hormuz Strait and threatens strikes
U.S. President Donald Trump has issued an ultimatum to Iran, providing 48 hours to unblock the Hormuz Strait. Otherwise, he threatened missile strikes on Iranian power plants. Trump announced this on his blog on the Truth Social platform.

In his message, he stated: “If by the end of 48 hours Iran does not ensure the complete opening of the Hormuz Strait without threats, the U.S. will strike and destroy various power plants, starting with the largest!”
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps immediately responded to this effective ultimatum.

In a statement, the IRGC emphasized: “If the enemy attacks Iran's oil and energy infrastructure, all energy, IT, and desalination facilities of the U.S. and its allies in the region will become targets for retaliatory actions.” This statement was made in response to Trump's threats.

Since February 28, the U.S. and Israel have been actively carrying out missile attacks on Iran, resulting in the deaths of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and about 40 high-profile officials and security personnel.

In response, Iran is beginning to strike at facilities related to U.S. military infrastructure in the Persian Gulf countries.
