According to a recent survey conducted by the Madrid research firm 40dB for the publication El Pais and the radio station Cadena SER, the majority of citizens in the European Union express protest against the military actions of the United States and Israel towards Iran.

In the study, which covered residents of Spain, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom, it was found that approximately 68% of respondents do not support military intervention. Most respondents prefer their governments to take a cautious or neutral stance.

Additionally, 57% of survey participants approve of Spain's decision not to provide military assistance to the United States and Israel, while 53% oppose the use of American military bases for operations related to the conflict.

About 42% of respondents support Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez's actions in managing the current crisis, while nearly 80% show an active interest in the conflict, feeling anxious about what is happening.

The military actions of Israel and the United States against Iran began on February 28 with a series of intense air and missile strikes on Iranian cities and military facilities. In response, Tehran attacked Israel and American bases in several Middle Eastern countries, resulting in the deaths of several high-ranking Iranian officials and military personnel. Shortly after the operations began, American President Donald Trump announced the start of a military operation called "Epic Fury" in a video address.

As a result of the attacks, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed, along with about ten high-profile Iranian officials.

Tensions in the region continue to persist.
