As a result of the attacks, bases such as Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates, and the U.S. Navy's Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain were affected, as stated in the report.
According to Reuters, numerous explosions were heard in the Qatari capital, Doha, and in the vicinity of Al Udeid Air Base. The Qatari Ministry of Defense reported intercepting several Iranian missiles. Explosions were also recorded in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and Abu Dhabi (UAE).
The Iranian Ministry of Defense also officially confirmed that the targets of these strikes are "all American military bases in the region."
It should not be forgotten that today Israel began launching missile strikes on Iranian territory, characterizing this as a "preventive attack." Washington authorities confirmed the information and noted that this is a joint operation of Israel and the U.S., named "Lion's Roar."
