A new mural has appeared on the wall of school No. 24 in Bishkek, which has become a symbol of remembrance for Timur, who tragically lost his life in a traffic accident. This was reported by the authors of the work, Valery Katrevich and his wife Alisa.

The artist noted that the work was completed yesterday and holds special significance for the community, as it is dedicated to the tragic events that occurred at the traffic light, where an underage driver hit a boy. According to him, the realization of the mural was made possible thanks to the support of the deceased's parents and the school itself, as well as concerned individuals who expressed their opinions about the sketch.

“We approached the creation of this mural with great responsibility, as the topic is very sensitive. I believe this is my best work, not in terms of technique, but for its social significance,” Katrevich shared.

The artist also noted that the concept of the mural was entirely his idea, without the involvement of artificial intelligence. He wanted to reflect the problem without direct imagery, showing the child in the absence of the child.

Let us remind you that the tragedy occurred in Bishkek on October 18 at the intersection of Bokonbaeva and Abdrakhmanova streets. As a result of the accident involving a Lexus RX 330 and a Toyota Camry, a collision occurred in which Timur, a 13-year-old teenager, died on the spot, while three other pedestrians were injured and hospitalized.

The mother of the deceased boy appealed to the authorities and society, asking that no one hush up the case and that all those responsible be held accountable.

Valery Katrevich is already well-known in Bishkek for his works. He is the author of another mural on the theme of the Kyrgyz epic, which is located at Manas International Airport.

Together with his wife Alisa, they created a creative workshop.
In the capital, you can also see their mural dedicated to the prominent linguist Konstantin Yudakhin, the author of well-known dictionaries of the Kyrgyz-Russian and Russian-Kyrgyz languages.

Additionally, their creative work includes another popular mural dedicated to Akhmatbek Suyumbaev.
