The doctor urged not to panic regarding ARVI and influenza
According to information provided by Bermet Baryktabasova, chairperson of the Independent Medical Union, quarantine can be an effective tool in the context of increasing cases of ARVI and influenza. She reported this on her Facebook page.
She highlighted several key tasks that need to be addressed during the rise in illness:
- Reducing the flow of patients to hospitals, both severe and non-severe;
- Expanding opportunities for outpatient and inpatient treatment;
- Ensuring coordinated work among various agencies during the crisis related to ARVI;
- Purchasing medications and personal protective equipment;
- Paying for overtime hours worked by medical staff.
Additionally, the doctor urged to limit visits to public places.
“There is no need to panic or succumb to hype. ARVI comes every year in a certain season. Pay attention to what is happening in shopping and entertainment centers and during holidays. There are children everywhere,” she noted.
