The exhibition titled "Umuttun Kyl Kalemi" aims to showcase the creative abilities of individuals in places of deprivation of liberty who strive for self-expression and creation despite difficult circumstances.
This is not just an exhibition — it is a story of hope, inner development, and the opportunity for a new start. The event is aimed at fostering a sincere and deep understanding in society of the process of resocialization in the context of criminal punishment.

In the exhibition, visitors will be able to see not only bright colors and diverse forms but also reflections of emotions, difficulties, perseverance, and the desire to change their fate. Each piece of art is a step towards the future, an attempt to be understood and heard.
The following activities are planned as part of the event:
- presentation of artistic and applied works;
- charitable sale of exhibits to support convicts and their families;
- open discussion on issues of resocialization and social assistance;
- raising awareness of human stories beyond correctional institutions.

“These creations are the voice of people who are learning to trust themselves again, open new horizons, and strive for change,” the release notes.
The exhibition will take place at: Pushkin Street, 78a, Dubovy Park named after Chingiz Aitmatov, Semen Chuykov Art Gallery.
