On December 16, a closed press screening of the third part of the blockbuster "Avatar: The Way of Water" took place at the capital's cinema "Kosmopark".

Famous personalities from Kyrgyzstan gathered at the event — actors, directors, show business stars, and bloggers. The screening was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the "Cinematica" cinema chain.

Guests were shown the history of the company, starting from the renovation of the only hall and culminating in the creation of a large network of cinemas both in the country and abroad. The founder of "Cinematica," Ulugbek Salymbekov, shared in his touching speech how his childhood dream led to the creation of this successful business.

The third part of James Cameron's saga retains the same spectacle and dynamics as the previous films. The plot begins at the moment when the second part ended — the family of the main characters experiences the loss of their eldest son in their own way.

In this film, viewers will see the resolution of the conflict between Colonel Miles Quaritch's avatar and Jake Sully's family, as well as with those who support Toruk Makto.

New antagonists appear in the grand battle — Na'vi from another tribe. These representatives of the ash people have strayed from the faith in Eywa; they are ruthless, attacking other tribes and seeking to obtain human weapons with the intent to destroy all of Pandora. The leader of the Mangkwan clan unites with the colonel, and together they attack the main character's family. The inhabitants of the underwater world — powerful tulkuns — are also involved in the conflict.

There are also touching moments in "Avatar-3" — a scientist who worries about the future of the tulkuns and stands against his team, Spider, who considers himself part of Jake Sully's family and finds a way to breathe on Pandora without a mask, and even the colonel, who, having come to love Spider as a son, collaborates with Jake Sully for his rescue.

As a result of the grand battle, the Na'vi emerged victorious, although they suffered heavy losses. However, the story of Pandora continues: plans for the fourth and fifth parts of "Avatar" have already been announced.

The first part of the "Avatar" franchise (2009) is the highest-grossing film in history, with earnings of $2.9 billion. The second part, "Avatar: The Way of Water" (2022), ranks third among the highest-grossing films with $2.3 billion. The budget for "Avatar-3" is estimated at $250 million, and James Cameron is expected to earn at least $200 million from this project.
