In the summer, officials claimed that the capital lacked about 300 educators and planned to fill these vacancies by September.
However, the Ministry of Education presented different data. According to the automated information system "Mugalim," the total number of vacant positions in the republic is 761, of which 143 are in Bishkek.
The highest number of unfilled positions is observed in the Chui region — 276 vacancies.
In other regions, the situation is as follows: in the Batken region — 127 vacancies, in the Issyk-Kul region — 68, in the Jalal-Abad region — 65, in the Osh region — 55, in the Talas region — 21, in the Naryn region — 4, and in the city of Osh — 2.
