According to operational data, from 8:00 AM on December 31, 2025, to 8:00 AM on January 1, 2026, 177 boys and 190 girls were born in the country. There were also 9 cesarean section operations performed.
The first newborn of 2026 was a girl weighing 3.915 kg, who was born at the Issyk-Ata Center for Primary Health Care exactly at midnight. From 00:00 to 00:10 on January 1, 2026, another 10 children (6 boys and 5 girls) were born.
The highest number of births in a day was recorded in the Jalal-Abad region — 81 cases, in Bishkek — 69, and in the city of Osh and Osh region — 68.
