
According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, 367 children were born in Kyrgyzstan on New Year's Eve, including 177 boys and 190 girls.
During the period from 8:00 AM on December 31, 2025, to 8:00 AM on January 1, 2026, there were also 9 cesarean section operations performed in the country.
In the first ten minutes of the new year, from 00:00 to 00:10 on January 1, 11 children were born: 6 boys and 5 girls. The first newborn of 2026 was a girl born exactly at midnight at the Issyk-Ata Center for General Medical Practice, weighing 3.915 kg.
The highest number of births was observed in the Jalal-Abad region, where 81 children were born. In Bishkek, 69 newborns were recorded, and in the city of Osh and Osh region — 68.
It is also noted that 2 babies were born in the Jalal-Abad Interregional Combined Clinical Hospital, 1 in the Bishkek City Perinatal Center, and 1 in the Osh City Maternity Hospital.
