As it became known, on December 30 and 31, all medical organizations in Kyrgyzstan will switch to an enhanced working mode.
From January 1 to 9, 2026, medical institutions will operate in a regular mode; however, duty shifts will be organized. Emergency care will be available around the clock in these institutions, and a reserve of beds will be set up for the urgent hospitalization of patients in need of immediate treatment. Additionally, the availability of all necessary medications, medical supplies, and blood components has been ensured.
In family medicine centers, general practice, and among family doctor groups, duty shifts will be organized from 08:00 to 18:00 during the period from January 1 to 9. Procedure rooms will operate until 14:00.
Emergency medical assistance in Bishkek, Osh, and other regions of the country will be available 24/7 without days off, as reported by the Ministry of Health.
