The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic commented on the situation with large queues at the Family Medicine Centers (FMC) for obtaining medical certificates of form 083, which are necessary for obtaining or replacing driver's licenses. The agency urged citizens to understand the temporary difficulties faced by medical institutions.
According to information from the heads of the FMC, there has been a sharp increase in the number of requests for medical certificates of this format in recent weeks. Previously, up to 15-20 people would come in a day, whereas now this figure has significantly increased. If in September, an average of about 500 certificates of form 083 were issued daily across the country, by December this number had risen to 3,000, indicating an almost sixfold increase in the load on clinics, the Ministry of Health noted.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health assures that the process of issuing certificates continues as usual. Medical workers are accepting all applicants, following the established order and not refusing anyone assistance.
