Such a statement was made by Deputy Foreign Minister Almaz Imangaziev.
During a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Shaiyrbek Tashiev raised the issue of the difficulties faced by patients in need of treatment or surgeries abroad regarding visa acquisition.
“The problem lies in the long processing times for visas. During this time, people's health may deteriorate, and sometimes it becomes too late for the necessary procedures. For example, visas for countries like South Korea and Germany. Is it possible to conclude intergovernmental agreements to simplify the visa acquisition process based on medical certificates?” Tashiev inquired.
In response, Deputy Foreign Minister Almaz Imangaziev noted that his department is actively working on implementing a visa-free regime with these countries. He also added that patients in need of treatment abroad can seek assistance from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
