At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on December 24, Deputy Shairbek Tashiev expressed the need to simplify the visa process for citizens traveling abroad for medical treatment. He noted that obtaining a visa for surgeries or examinations in countries such as South Korea or Germany takes a lot of time, which can negatively affect patients' health.

Tashiev proposed: "Develop international agreements for the expedited processing of visas. It is also necessary to consider the need to issue visas for accompanying persons."

In response to this statement, Deputy Foreign Minister Almaz Imangaziev replied that each country has its own visa rules. However, he assured that citizens who urgently need treatment abroad can contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they can receive assistance in expediting the visa process for humanitarian reasons.
