The twins that became part of this event were born in several medical institutions: two sets of twins in the Jalal-Abad Interregional Unified Clinical Hospital, and one each in the Bishkek City Perinatal Center and the Osh City Maternity Hospital.
The first girl born in the new year arrived exactly at midnight at the Issyk-Ata Family Medicine Center and weighed 3.915 kg. In the first ten minutes of the new year, 11 children were born in the republic: six boys and five girls.
The highest number of births in a day was recorded in the Jalal-Abad region — 81. Bishkek registered 69 births, while Osh and the Osh region recorded 68.
