According to the agency's announcement, on December 30 and 31, all medical organizations in the country will operate in a state of increased readiness. These days will be supported by additional shifts of medical personnel, and services will be prepared for emergency and urgent treatment.
From January 1 to 9, 2026, during the New Year holidays, medical institutions will function as usual with on-duty responsible staff. Emergency care will be provided around the clock in hospitals, a reserve of beds for emergency hospitalization will be created, and the availability of necessary medications, medical supplies, and blood components will be guaranteed.
At the outpatient level—in family medicine centers and general practice—family doctors, nurses, and registrars will be on duty from January 1 to 9 from 08:00 to 18:00. Procedure rooms will accept patients until 14:00.
The ambulance service in Bishkek, Osh, and other regions of the republic will operate around the clock without days off. Continuous operation of air ambulance services and on-duty specialists from the sanitary-epidemiological service and laboratories will also be ensured.
The Ministry of Health noted that during the holiday period, medical assistance will be provided promptly and in full, urging citizens to seek medical help immediately if needed.
