To ensure the availability of medical assistance, all medical organizations in the country will operate in an enhanced mode from December 30 to December 31. These days will be designated for additional duty of medical personnel, increasing the readiness of services, and ensuring the continuous provision of emergency and urgent care to the population.
From January 1 to January 9, 2026, during the New Year holidays, medical institutions will operate in standard mode with responsible on-duty staff. Emergency care will be provided around the clock, a reserve of beds for the hospitalization of emergency patients will be formed, and the availability of necessary medications, medical products, and blood components will be ensured.
At the outpatient level, family medicine centers and general practice will also organize the duty of family doctors and nurses from January 1 to January 9. Registries will operate from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and procedure rooms will be open until 2:00 PM.
The ambulance service in Bishkek, Osh, and other regions of the country will operate around the clock without days off. Additionally, the operation of sanitary aviation and the duty of specialists from the sanitary-epidemiological service and laboratories will be ensured on holidays and weekends.
The Ministry of Health emphasizes that medical assistance will be provided to the population in a timely and complete manner, urging citizens to seek help at medical institutions if necessary.
It should be noted that in Kyrgyzstan, the New Year holidays will last from January 1 to January 12.
