In Kara-Kul, located in the Jalal-Abad region, there is a gradually decreasing number of cases of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI), as reported by the local department of state sanitary and epidemiological supervision.

According to the information, four kindergartens were closed for quarantine from December 5 to 15, but today they have reopened their doors.

“Some patients developed complications such as otitis and pneumonia due to untimely prevention and treatment,” specialists note.

According to experts, influenza and ARVI are actively spreading during the autumn-winter period, affecting a significant number of people. The risk of severe disease is particularly high among children, pregnant women, and the elderly.

According to data from the city’s general practice center, 4,252 cases of illness have been registered in the first 11 months of this year, of which 2,607 cases were recorded in children under 14 years old. This is 1,284 cases more compared to last year.

In the first week of December, 313 residents of the city sought medical help with ARVI symptoms, including 59 kindergarten students and 122 schoolchildren.

As of today, the situation in the city’s schools is stabilizing: the number of sick students does not exceed 20% of the total number of students.

Overall, the epidemiological situation in Kara-Kul remains stable, and a decrease in the number of cases is recorded every day, as stated in the report.
