Due to the increase in cases of ARVI and influenza in Kyrgyzstan, 65 kindergartens have been closed and 5 schools have switched to online learning. This information was provided by the Ministry of Health.

Among the closed kindergartens in Bishkek, there are about 25, in the Chui region — approximately 40, and in the Osh region, 5 schools have transitioned to distance learning.

“Sanitary regulations were prepared for the heads of organizations and institutions, and letters were sent to district administrations and relevant agencies, including the Ministry of Education and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan. Large shopping centers, as well as cultural and educational institutions, received notifications about the need to strengthen control over compliance with preventive measures. In those areas where the epidemiological situation remains stable, instructions have been given to intensify preventive work to prevent further spread of the disease,” the official statement said.
