In Bishkek, 25 kindergartens closed for quarantine
Currently, 36,000 cases of illness have been registered, among which more than 70% are children under the age of 14, with 40% of them being four-year-olds. The main reason for the spread of the infection is that adults are infecting children. This week and last week, 25 kindergartens in Bishkek have been closed for quarantine, and in the Issyk-Ata district, the number of closed kindergartens has reached 36. Several kindergartens and one school have also been closed in Osh, and in seven educational institutions, some classes have switched to remote learning due to low attendance,” Otorbaeva added.
