In the past 24 hours, 365 births were registered in Kyrgyzstan, resulting in the birth of 367 newborns, as reported by the Ministry of Health of the republic.
Among the newborns are four sets of twins: two were born at the Jalal-Abad Interregional Combined Clinical Hospital, one at the Bishkek City Perinatal Center, and one at the Osh City Maternity Hospital.
According to preliminary data, from 8:00 AM on December 31, 2025, to 8:00 AM on January 1, 2026, 177 boys and 190 girls were born in the country. During this period, 9 cesarean sections were also performed.
The first newborn of 2026 appeared at the Issyk-Ata Center for General Medical Practice at midnight. It is a girl weighing 3 kg 915 g.
Between 00:00 and 00:10 on January 1, 2026, 11 children were born in the republic: 6 boys and 5 girls.
The highest number of births was recorded in the Jalal-Abad region – 81, in Bishkek – 69, and in the city of Osh and Osh region – 68.
