According to information provided by the National Statistical Committee, as of November 1, 2025, the permanent population of the Kyrgyz Republic has increased by 103.4 thousand people, which is a 1.4% growth compared to previous data. Thus, the total number of residents has reached 7 million 385 thousand.
According to data from the State Institution "Kyzmat," from January to October 2025, 117.3 thousand newborns were registered in the civil registry offices, which corresponds to 19.2 per 1,000 people (while in the same period of 2024, this figure was 20.1). During the same period, there were 27 thousand recorded deaths, which corresponds to 4.4 per 1,000 population (compared to 4.5 in 2024). As a result, the natural population increase amounted to 90.3 thousand people, or 14.8 per 1,000 population, which is also lower compared to 15.6 in 2024.
The most noticeable population growth from January to October 2025 was recorded in the Batken, Osh, and Jalal-Abad regions, while the capital, Bishkek, experienced the lowest growth rate.
