The reason for such a sharp increase in the number of entrants is the development of tourist infrastructure, the expansion of international routes, active promotion of the country’s natural and cultural resources, as well as the growth of business contacts and investments.
According to the border service statistics, 3,260,642 vehicles crossed the border of Kyrgyzstan, of which 1,690,357 units crossed the border, confirming the activity of both tourists and participants in international freight transportation.
Additionally, in 2025, there were 28,593 cases recorded where foreigners attempted to cross the border with invalid documents. Of these, 28,006 individuals were forced to return as they were denied entry. Deportations also affected 2,031 foreign citizens for violating stay regulations, according to the agency's report.
