Deputy Dastan Bekeshev was the initiator of this bill.
Previously, this project was returned for reconsideration in the second reading.
The main goal of the bill is to regulate the work of the Council for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities, which is subordinate to the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as to strengthen its role in protecting the rights of people with disabilities.
As part of the bill, it is planned to establish legal norms for the functioning of the Council and to provide it with the opportunity to participate in the preparation of regulatory acts affecting the rights of persons with disabilities.
In addition, the committee decided to change the title of the bill from "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts Regarding the Council for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities" to "On Amendments to the Law on Regulatory Legal Acts."
