Illegal fishing nets continue to be identified and disposed of at Issyk-Kul

As part of the fight against poaching at Issyk-Kul, a raid was conducted during which inspectors from the Issyk-Kul Regional Department of Environmental and Technical Supervision, part of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision, confiscated several illegal fishing nets. These materials were sent for disposal, as reported by the agency's press service.

Together with the tourist environmental police, the inspectors carried out preventive and control measures aimed at preventing illegal fishing and cleaning the lake's waters.

During the inspection, which took place between the villages of Oryuktu and Zharkynbaev, a recently installed hidden net was discovered and also confiscated. In addition, the nets collected since the beginning of January have been handed over to the territorial unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for further destruction in accordance with established regulations.
