Discussion on the development of youth sports in Bishkek


A working meeting was held in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, where directors of specialized children and youth Olympic reserve schools (SDYUSHOR) gathered. The meeting was chaired by Kanibek Zholchubekov, the director of the Department of Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth Affairs of the Bishkek City Hall.

During the event, participants discussed important aspects related to the development of children's and youth sports as well as professional sports in the city. Among the topics raised at the meeting were budget planning, effective spending of funds, as well as the organization of city championships and the holding of republican and international competitions.

Special attention was given to increasing the efficiency of sports institutions, creating optimal conditions for training high-class athletes, and developing the sports reserve of the capital.

Currently, there are 12 specialized children and youth schools operating in Bishkek, which play a significant role in preparing future athletes and shaping the sports potential of the city.
