At the meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on social issues, health care, and labor, held on January 27, it was announced that Kyrgyzstan has filed a lawsuit against Russia in the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union.

Deputy Gulnara Baatyrova emphasized the need to address issues related to obtaining medical insurance policies and services for migrants from Kyrgyzstan in Russia.

The head of the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund (MHIF), Azamat Mukhanov, reported that work in this direction is ongoing.

He added that "Kyrgyzstan has filed a lawsuit against Russia due to the non-fulfillment of the conditions outlined in the EAEU agreements. The mandatory health insurance policy must also be issued to the family members of workers in Russia. This agreement has been signed by five states," noted the chairman of the MHIF.

Mukhanov also reported that the court meeting took place last week, and a decision is expected in two weeks.
