More than 302 thousand Kyrgyz citizens have a negative credit history

At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Benazir Nurlanova reported that out of 1 million 517 thousand citizens of Kyrgyzstan with credit histories, 302,355 people face negative records.

A negative credit history is formed if a borrower misses payments for more than 90 days.

Additionally, it was proposed that negative data on loans with amounts less than 10,000 soms be retained for one year.

The draft law was approved by the deputies in the first reading.
