As part of the morning inspection, the mayor of Osh, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, visited the area where the "Kekeev" restaurant is located and ordered a check on the legality of the land use for this plot. This was reported by the municipality of the southern capital.

According to the information from the Cadastre Service, the land has a complicated history. In 2008, it was classified as agricultural land but was later converted for social needs, including the construction of a school. In 2010, part of the plot, approximately 20 hectares, was allocated for private ownership and could be sold.

Toktorbaev emphasized that this plot was originally intended for social purposes and demanded a legal assessment of all changes regarding the land's status.

“If it turns out that the plot was registered with violations or the transformation rules were violated, we will take appropriate measures. Orders have already been issued,” the mayor noted.

Currently, municipal services are conducting the inspection, and based on its results, the mayor's office promises to provide official information.

We remind you that earlier, municipal services in Bishkek demolished the "Kekeev" cafe, which was located directly in the riverbed of the Alamedin River.
