At the joint meeting of the parliamentary groups "Eldik" and "Ala-Too" on January 30, Deputy Nilufer Alimjanova raised the issue of how Kyrgyz citizens working in Russia can replace their driver's licenses. She noted that many of them work in taxis.

The deputy expressed concern that not all cities in Russia have representations of Kyrgyzstan and asked how they should proceed in this situation. "Is it necessary to return to the homeland to resolve this issue? This could negatively affect them," she added.

In response, Deputy Foreign Minister Almaz Imangaziev stated that Russia has the largest number of diplomatic and consular institutions where such issues can be resolved.

He emphasized that personal presence is required to replace driver's licenses, as this is related to FaceID requirements.

In conclusion, Alimjanova urged the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to intensify its work, including in the area of informing citizens.
